Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MySi (the "Service"), a website and web application that provides curriculum-aligned Maths lessons, practice questions and printable worksheets for children in Reception to Year 3 in the UK primary curriculum (with further year groups planned). MySi is provided by Mira Patel, an individual ("we", "us", "our"), operating MySi as a sole trader rather than through a registered company. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who can use MySi

The Service is designed to be used by children under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Accounts may only be created and held by an adult (18 years or older) who is the parent or legal guardian of the child or children who will use the Service ("Parent Account Holder"). By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the authority to consent to your child's use of the Service on the terms set out here and in our Privacy Policy. Children do not create their own accounts and should not provide any personal information directly to us outside of what is entered by their parent or guardian.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep it up to date, and to notify us promptly (see section 13) if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We use Supabase to provide authentication and store account and progress data securely; see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how this data is handled.

4. Subscriptions, pricing and payment

Access to some or all of the Service's lessons, practice questions and worksheets requires a paid subscription. Current pricing is shown on our website before you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly or annually, as selected at checkout) until cancelled. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment processor; we do not store your full card details ourselves.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings ("Manage subscription"). Cancellation stops future billing but, unless otherwise stated at the point of cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods except as described below or as required by law.

If you are not satisfied with a recent payment, you may request a refund using the "Request refund" option in your account, or by messaging us (see section 13). Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and, where granted, may result in your subscription being cancelled immediately. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory right you may have to a refund or to cancel a distance contract, including rights under UK consumer protection law.

We may change our prices or subscription plans from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change before it takes effect on your next billing cycle, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
  • copy, resell, sublicense, scrape or redistribute our content or worksheets other than for personal, non-commercial use by your own household or, for printable worksheets, your own child or the pupils you are directly responsible for teaching;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the operation or security of the Service; or
  • upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its lessons, questions, worksheets, illustrations, software, text and design, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial, household use in accordance with these Terms. Printable worksheets may be printed for use by the children in your household or class, but may not otherwise be redistributed, published or sold.

7. Educational content disclaimer

MySi is designed to support and supplement, not replace, the Maths curriculum taught in school. While we take care to align content with the UK national curriculum and to keep it accurate and age-appropriate, we do not guarantee any particular academic outcome, and the Service should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional educational, developmental or medical advice.

8. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the Service for maintenance, security or business reasons, and we may add, change or remove content, features or year groups (for example, as we roll out Years 3–6) at our discretion, with reasonable notice where a change materially reduces what is included in a paid plan.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required to do so by law. Where reasonably possible we will give you notice before terminating your account for breach.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, and our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, our pricing, or applicable law. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the Service before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

13. Contact us

MySi is currently run by one person. If you have any questions about these Terms, please message us on WhatsApp at 07404 789345.
